Mac Software
All of our Mac computer labs have OS X version 10.4. For the most part legacy OS 9 and beta versions of software are not supported.
If the software you need for teaching is not on the list below please submit a request to Academic Technology Services (ATS). The following form can be used to request software Instructional Software Request Form (PDF)
There is a standard set of applications on all of our OSX Macs. There are two locations for software on the machines.
Most basic applications, including those that come standard with the OS, are in the /Applications folder on the local hard drive. We have also added the following applications to the Applications folder:

Larger applications are located on the server and are served remotely. These applications can be found on the Applications server, which is automatically loaded on your desktop. The name of this server is different in different locations. Included standard on this server:
