E-Token Purchasing Options

You may purchase E-Tokens for your MSUNetID account through several payment venues:

• MSU Computer Store
  • 110 Computer Center.
  • 9-5 Monday - Friday
  • E-Tokens may be purchased in quantities of 50 or more.
  • Acceptable Payments:
    • Cash
    • Check
    • Credit Card
    • University Account Numbers

• Student Receivables
  • Online
  • E-Token purchases are be billed directly to your student account.
  • Qualifications:
    • Be an undergraduate registered for the current or a future semester, or a graduate student enrolled in the current or a future semester.
  • Restrictions:
    • No more than 500 E-Tokens may be purchased at one time
    • The amount of E-Tokens you purchase may not cause your balance to exceed 2500.
  • These restrictions do not apply to purchases made at the MSU Computer Store.

1. Visit netprint.msu.edu.
2. Enter your MSUNetID username and password when prompted.
3. Click on the "Purchase E-tokens" link located in the left-hand column.
4. A purchase page will appear, enter the amount to be purchased into the blank field to the left of the "Purchase" button, keeping in mind the purchase restrictions above.
5. After you have entered the number of E-Tokens you are requesting, click on the "Purchase" button. A confirmation page will appear.
6. The confirmation page displays summary information for your requested purchase, along with your MSUNetID.
   • If the E-Token purchase information is incorrect, then click "Back" on your browser to correct the E-Token amount on the previous page, and click "Purchase" again.
7. To confirm the purchase, enter your MSUNetID password, and click "Accept." Please be sure that you want to purchase this number of E-Tokens and bill them to your student account, as E-Token purchases are not refundable.
8. If you clicked the "Accept" button, the purchase completion page appears, with a date, transaction number, and other specifics of the purchase. This confirms that you now have additional E-Tokens for laser printing. This purchase of E-Tokens will appear on a future invoice you receive for charges to your student account.

• Spartan Cash
  • Online
  • You may purchase e-tokens with a Spartan Cash Account.
  • E-Tokens may be purchased in quantities of 50 or more.

Purchasing E-Tokens Through Spartan Cash

1. To purchase e-tokens using your Spartan Cash account log into Netprint and select 'Purchase E-tokens'.
2. If you are a student with a Spartan Cash account you will be offered a radio button prompting you to select 'Purchase E-Tokens with Spartan Cash' or 'Purchase E-Tokens through Student Receivables'. If you are a non-student with a Spartan Cash account you will see only the 'Purchase E-Tokens with Spartan Cash' screen.
3. Once in the 'Purchase E-Tokens with Spartan Cash' screen select the quantity that you wish to purchase from the drop down box and click 'Confirm Purchase'. As a security precaution you will be required to re-enter your NetId password. Once the transaction is complete a e-mail will be sent to your MSU E-Mail account with the transaction details.
4. If Netprint senses you do not have a Spartan Cash account you will be offered a hyper link that will take you to the Spartan Cash web site where you can get a Spartan Cash account.

Note: You may view your current E-Token level and acount history through the User buttons, "View E-Tokens" and "View Account," respectively. If you have any questions about the purchase of E-Tokens through Student Receivables, please use the on line Feedback Form, or come to the Room 220 Computer Center Main Office during normal business hours.
